Wednesday, November 4th = DAY 4

Hello from Ms. Herrmann!!

Hi everyone!

It's hard to believe that next week is November. We have a busy week ahead. Please see the information below highlighting the upcoming week's events.

Tuesday, November 3rd - NO SCHOOL for STUDENTS = Election Day

Thursday, November 5th - Early Release - Caregiver Conferences

Families should have received communication from teachers with options for caregiver conferences. If you were unable to secure a time for a conference on Thursday, please reach out to the Main Office (508-626-9181) to schedule a conference during the team's scheduled meeting time.

Friday, November 6th: Safety Drill Practice

We will be conducting our safety drills next Friday during the school day. Students and staff will be participating in the following drills: Evacuate, Lockdown, Stay in Place. Students have participated in SEL lessons during Flex blocks and teachers will continue to prepare them for the drills next week. While we hope we will never have to use these procedures, it is important to be prepared.

Have a wonderful weekend!

All good books do this."

Student ID Badge Reminder

We appreciate your support in helping us reinforce the importance of students wearing their Student ID Badges. All students are required to wear their Student ID Badges each day while at school. Student ID badges are also required when students receive breakfast and lunch.

Thank you for reminding your child to bring their ID badge to school each day. We appreciate your partnership and support!

Cell Phones/Smart Watches and Non-School Authorized Electronic Devices

To promote student learning and mental health, and to reduce distractions during the school day, cell phones/smart watches and other non-school authorized electronic devices may not be used at any time during school hours. Limiting device use helps create a more focused learning environment and can improve students’ well-being by reducing social media usage during the school day.

If a parent/guardian chooses to send their child to school with a cell phone/smartwatch or other non-school authorized electronic device, it must be turned off and stored in the student’s backpack or locker.

Any cell phone/smart watch or non-school authorized device seen or used during the school day will be confiscated by staff, and parents/guardians will be notified. The device will be returned to the student at the end of the day.

Repeated violations will result in the device being held in the office until a parent/guardian meets with administration to pick it up.

When it is necessary to get an important message to your child during the school day, please call the main office and leave a message with the school secretary.
