Celebrating Student Achievement

three seals

Honoring the Voices, Languages, and Achievements of the Scholars We Serve

Framingham Public Schools is proud to recognize our multilingual and multiliterate scholars through the Massachusetts State Seal of Biliteracy, the Massachusetts State Seal of Biliteracy with Distinction, the Language Opportunity Coalition (LOC) Biliteracy Pathway Awards, and the District Love of Language Awards.

More than 70 languages are spoken by the scholars in our district, reflecting the rich linguistic and cultural diversity of the Framingham community. Through Dual Language Bilingual Education programs, world language courses, and the language skills students bring from their homes and communities, our scholars develop multilingualism, biliteracy, and cross-cultural competence.

This year's honorees have demonstrated dedication, perseverance, and pride in their language development, linguistic skills, and identities. Their achievements reflect not only their hard work, but also the many strengths they bring to our classrooms, schools, and community.

We celebrate graduating seniors who have earned the Massachusetts State Seal of Biliteracy and the Massachusetts State Seal of Biliteracy with Distinction, as well as students in grades 5, 8, and 12 recognized through the LOC Biliteracy Pathway Awards for Participation, Attainment, and Achievement. We also honor recipients of the Framingham Public Schools District Love of Language Award for their outstanding enthusiasm, dedication, and commitment to language learning.

Congratulations to all of our honorees for this remarkable achievement!
