Don't miss out! Registration for Flyers Summer Academy, a free 4-week summer program for incoming 7th-12th graders, closes on April 15th at 4 pm. This engaging, hands-on program will provide students the opportunity to learn new skills based on their interests - from filmmaking to cooking, health and fitness to career exploration, and so much more! Programs run from July 6th-31, Monday-Friday, from 9:30 am-2:30 pm and primarily take place at Cameron Middle School. Transportation and lunch are provided, and all programs are offered free of charge.

8th Grade STAMP/LOC Language Test Dates
All Dual Language program 8th graders, plus other 8th graders who have signed up, will be testing for the Language Opportunity Coalition Biliteracy Pathway Awards. Students should be sure to arrive on time to school with their charged Chromebooks.
Tuesday 4/7: All Dual Language 8th graders, plus students who are testing in two different partner languages
Tuesday 4/14: Non-Dual Language 8th graders who signed up to test
Wednesday 4/15: Makeup testing date

June 17 - Dual Language Ceremony (5:30 PM)

June 22 - Field trip to Six Flags - Cost is $65.00 (Includes admission, snack, and lunch)
June 23, 5:00 pm Cookout by teachers and staff, but with parent assistance. We need parents to set up at 4:00 and break down at 7:00. If you can help, please email walshptso@gmail.com
June 24 - Promotion ceremony (5:30 PM). Students will get yearbooks and popsicles during the day.

Walsh Pick Up Reminder
Pick-Up Reminder:
As a reminder, we ask for your partnership in helping dismissal and parking lot pick-up run smoothly and safely. Please listen for and follow directions from Walsh staff when addressed, as they are there to support students and families and keep traffic moving efficiently. We also ask that all interactions remain respectful and that everyone stays aware of their surroundings to help ensure a safe environment for all.

The Homework Center at the Framingham Public Library
The Homework Center at the Framingham Public Library provides free homework help and tutoring (and snacks!) for students in grades K-12. The Homework Center is open at the Main Library downtown on Mondays and Thursdays from 3 pm-6 pm, and at the McAuliffe Branch in Nobscot on Wednesdays from 3 pm-5 pm. Dear Walsh Families,
Our staff’s number one priority is the safety of all children during arrival and dismissal. To help us keep things running smoothly and safely, please remember to:
Drive slowly and carefully through the school zone. Follow staff directions at all times. Use designated areas for drop-off and pick-up. Stay in your vehicle during pick-up and drop-off. Be kind and patient with other drivers—we’re all here for the same reason. Avoid distractions, such as cell phone use, while in the car line.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation. Together, we can make drop-off and pick-up safe and respectful for everyone.
