Walsh Pick Up Reminder

Pick-Up Reminder:
As a reminder, we ask for your partnership in helping dismissal and parking lot pick-up run smoothly and safely. Please listen for and follow directions from Walsh staff when addressed, as they are there to support students and families and keep traffic moving efficiently. We also ask that all interactions remain respectful and that everyone stays aware of their surroundings to help ensure a safe environment for all.

The Homework Center is open at the Main Library downtown on Mondays and Thursdays from 3pm-6pm, and at the McAuliffe Branch in Nobscot on Wednesdays from 3pm-5pm. If you have any questions, please contact FPL Assistant Director Jill Walker - jwalker@minlib.net.

Student Absences

Please be sure to call the main office when your child is absent. This is important so we can accurately record the absence.

Walsh School Council

Any caregiver interested in participating in the Walsh School Council, please email Mr. Johnson. We meet monthly at Walsh in the library at 7:15AM.

🚗 Walsh Pick-Up & Drop-Off Reminder 🚗

Dear Walsh Families,

Our staff’s number one priority is the safety of all children during arrival and dismissal. To help us keep things running smoothly and safely, please remember to:

  • Drive slowly and carefully through the school zone.

  • Follow staff directions at all times.

  • Use designated areas for drop-off and pick-up.

  • Stay in your vehicle during pick-up and drop-off.

  • Be kind and patient with other drivers—we’re all here for the same reason.

  • Avoid distractions, such as cell phone use, while in the car line.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation. Together, we can make drop-off and pick-up safe and respectful for everyone.

💙 Walsh Staff
