In addition to her teaching experience, Ms. de la Rosa Guerrero serves as a Workplace Coordinator and Student Success Advisor for the Framingham Adult ESL program, a role she has held since March 2022. We are thrilled to have Ms. de la Rosa Guerrero join us as a long-term substitute and look forward to the many ways she will inspire our students to grow their language skills and cultural awareness during her time with us!

Delayed Starts and ACCESS Testing 1/28 and 1/29

Some of our students will be participating in Access Testing on January 28th and January 29th. For those students who are not taking the tests, there will be a delayed start with the school day starting at 11 a.m. If your student rides a bus, the bus will pick up at their normal bus stop 3 to 3.5 hours later than the normal pick up time. Lunch will be served for all students.

Students who are identified as English Learners (Emergent Bilingual) will arrive at school on January 28th and 29th at the regularly scheduled time.

If your student is taking the test, here are some helpful tips!

  • Eat breakfast the day of the test.

  • Pack your school bag the night before and lay out your clothes.

  • Get a good night’s sleep.

  • Set an alarm for the morning so your student doesn’t feel rushed.

More information regarding the buses for students not taking the test will be sent home closer to the test date.

Lunch will be served at school for all students.

Driving into Walsh

The Walsh driveway can be quite busy in the mornings and afternoons. With over 800 students being dismissed, 15 buses, and many additional pick-ups, we kindly ask that you drive slowly, stay attentive, and watch for students. We will have two staff members at the crosswalks closest to the building to help with bus departures. Please follow their directions to ensure everyone's safety. Thank you for your cooperation.
