“What motivates me most is the positive impact and growth that you can have on a student's life. I believe that students are individuals and must be treated as such. As an educational leader I believe that it is important to make sure that each student has the same educational opportunities as the next and in the least restrictive environment. Each student must be taught by educators who believe that you teach the child not the subject and will do what is necessary to ensure the child’s success.”

“The principal’s leadership in the areas of integrity, fairness, and ethical behavior creates a framework for high achievement for teachers, students, and staff (Shipman and Queen, 2007).”
